Exemplar artist project

I only have a picture of the final drawing for this piece. My artist was Tomasz Moro, personally I dislike this piece. I used a pencil and black watercolor for the hair.

Still life drawing

I chose to do a shoe for my still life because I like the values of it. If I remember correctly I only used a lead pencil and #2 lead pencil

High contrast portrait

This was my high contrast artwork. This project was difficult to create because I only used a pencil and sharpie at first but had to use India ink later on

About me

Hello! My name is Gisele Sandimanie and this is me post. The dog you see above is mine, i named her cinnamon cause her fur reminded me of it. So lets talk about me, I liked art since i was young, mostly because i had an older brother who drew so it inspired me. I though art was very cool and i wanted to be just like my brother, overtime i discovered that i enjoyed painting more than drawing. That is why i decided to join the art academy at heritage, to learn more about painting.

Landscape watercolor

                                      

This right here is what I decided to do for my landscape piece. Personally I didn’t want to do like a tree/ nature type of landscape. I choose a colorful sunrise type of picture to paint as it would be a bit for fun for me. 

The materials I used were water color and also India ink. I had a hard time trying to make the colors pop on the page. 

Expiremental Two

This expiremental project was so much fun to create. There was an Artist ( I forgot the name) who inspired me to create this piece. I thought his pointalism paintings were amazing. I did a pathway of colorful trees and a magical portal.

To complete this piece I used a scalpel and acrylic paint on a small canvas. I did rough streaks of paint in certain areas and used a brush for a few smaller details

Expiremental One

This project was a bit different and challenging as I was expirement with a different style. I’ve never really tried to draw males in a more masculine style so this Is was came up with. Another thing I expiremented  with was his hair, I wanted to try a more ethnic style.

The materials I used were watercolor and a pencil as usual.

This is America Artwork

For the “This is America Artwork” I wanted to do a piece that meant something to me. And that is gun violence against innocent African Americans. For my piece I drew a young boy with an American flag mask wrapped around his mouth to silence him. There’s also a target and bullet wound  next to his head to signify gun control.

Originally for this piece I sketched the figure out in graphite an decided I wanted to keep it in black and white, I used watercolor for the target and bullet.
